Finding realty sector in Haryana abjuring social responsibility the State govt. is justified to bring realty players, builders and developers under the scanner. CM of Haryana, Bhupender Singh Hooda has directed the town & country planning department, Haryana to ensure that the realty sector was forced to observe the norms of bringing economically weaker section (EWS) of the society under their scheme of building houses.

“Actually, allotment of 15 per cent plots or flats to EWS have been injected as a necessary ingredient feature of overall development of flats by the realty sector. However, this part of the guidelines were conveniently put aside while allotting the flats to consumers or end users. That needs to be reminded to the colonizers and builders to ensure that even the EWS need not be avoided from allotment of plots or flats” observed P. Jain.

Under the new policy guideline assiduously groomed and adopted as a part of ensuring ‘exclusive’ growth by the Union govt. and being followed sincerely by the state government, the vulnerable and have-nots of the society need to be given equal opportunity to be a part of growth. Taking a strong view of the negligence of EWS in the allotment of the plots/flats being developed by the developers, the department has now decided that half of the projected flats/plots meant for EWS in the residential at a minimal price of Rs. 500 per sqd. The remaining 50 percent flats/plots the colonizers have been asked to allot to persons categorized under below poverty line (BPL) through the draw of lots in the presence of the representatives of the govt.

“We, in the Tulip Infratech have never slipped away from our social responsibility. Its needs not to mention that may not tantamount to self praise. That we have already earmarked as much as 111 flats to EWS in our “Tulip Grand” project, Sonepat which is almost reaching to its logical conclusion and are being handed over to the allottees within a month or so. As much as 106 flats have been earmarked for EWS in our on-going project on Pataudi Road, Gurgaon Project of residential colony. In another three projects situated in Sector- 69/70 on the Sohna Road, 600 flats for EWS, form as an integranted part of our projects,” disclosed Mr. Jain.

‘Tulip Orange’, ‘Tulip White’ and ‘Tulip Purple’ on about 100 acres of land on Sohna Road, has the projected connectivity with the proposed Metro line beside only seven kmts. from N.H.8. Six lane road from Rajiv Chowk to Sohna near to the projct site have almost reaching to its completion mode.

As the middle class numbers are escalating with each passing month, for the country’s economic growth is realizing un-precedented and spectacular up-ward mobility, despite the economic slowdown on global spectrum, the realty sector is still finding it hard to supply houses/flats to fulfil the ever increasing demands. “Still we run short of 200 million houses pr dwelling places. Finding the ever escalating middle class people, perception of life style-both husband and wife aspiring to achieve better career perceptive want a dwelling place that bring to its entirety and fully developed facilities build upon greenery all around. The modern youth endowed with technical and scientific bent of mind has become the engine of prosperity and exclusive growth in India, “observed P. Jain.

The youths belonging to EWS are displaying not less talents and achievements provided they are given a chance and opportunity. Thus if the family or the wards of such families are also given due share in housing projects, the Indian social restructuring can be realized.

“Builders and developers need not shirk their social responsibility in building a better and strong India and provide a deep foundation on exclusive social growth be realized, said Mr. Parveen Jain.

Parveen Jain, a young developer has already been awarded a number of awards for excellent display of entrepreneurs skill, social consciousness, transparency, honesty etc.
